/ Funded Graduate Student Opportunities

Dr. Yunping Liang is accepting applications from prospective Ph.D. and MASc students and visiting scholars in the board interdisciplinary area of sustainable infrastructure investment. With focus on financial, social, and environmental sustainability, enrolled students will work with Dr. Liang on infrastructure data analytics, infrastructure risk management, innovative infrastructure finance, project bankability & insurance, social equity in project delivery, and heuristics/ bias in infrastructure-related decision-making.

 

Minimum qualifications

  • Education background in one of the following disciplines : Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, and Psychology.

  • Knowledge in one of the following fields : Infrastructure Investment, Infrastructure Policy, or general Construction Management

  • (For Ph.D. applicants) Master’s degree or equivalent with high standing in engineering or computer science, or in a cognate discipline.

  • (For MASc applicants) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with high standing in engineering or computer science, or in a cognate discipline. Current Concordia students are preferred.

  • Expertise in either quantitative or qualitative research methodologies

  • Integrity, self-motivation, curiosity, and full English proficiency
